Embed a YouTube Video in Your WordPress Blog
In this exercise, you will find a video of interest on YouTube and post it to your blog.
Exercise:
- Explore YouTube & find a video worth adding as an entry in your blog.
- Copy the URL of the video from the address bar in your browser.
- Log into your WordPress blog and write a new post.
- Start typing your post until you get to the spot where you want to display your video.
- Underneath the message window, click the "Videos" link.
- You will see "http://" entered into a text box. Paste your video's URL into this text box.
- Click on the "Send to Editor" button.
- WordPress will add code to your blog post that will embed the video.
